Complete beginner / no instrument yet? - PLEASE
READ!
If you are a complete beginner and / or you have not yet bought an instrument, please! please!
please! call before you do! I can advise you on the right instrument for you before you spend loads on something that will
not suit you. There are many cheap but self-destructing instruments out there that will only serve to disappoint and frustrate.
You do not have to spend a fortune to get really good quality. CALL
ME or look in the Links page for some reputable instrument shops that also give advice.

Lesson Duration and Prices
My lessons are 45 minutes long,
(30 minutes for younger children under the age of 13) at a regular time slot on a weekly / bi-weekly basis. We would
arrange a minimum of 4 lessons, paid for in advance. My only terms are that any holidays are made known with each 4 week booking
and that cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson, so I can rearrange my timings. All efforts will
be made to fit you in at another time during that week, which is why notice is so important! I don't want to sit here
waiting alone! Last minute cancellations will be charged. 45 minute lesson is £24.00 30 minute lesson is £15.00 (under 12's only)

Getting Started
The first lesson is more like an informal chat.
It is free for private students and is an opportunity to find out what your aspirations and inspirations are. I would hope
to discover a little more about you, what musical history you have (if any) and try a few things to get you started actually
playing. From this I would begin to plan your lessons in the direction you would like and suggest a few things you maybe haven't
thought of yet!
